We’re thrilled to announce that Tío Bigotes will be opening its doors in South Holland this March! We’re currently in the final stages of preparation, and while we can’t wait to share more details, rest assured that an official grand opening is on the way—stay tuned for more information!
Our business, officially registered under Empanadas Nederland BV, will operate under the iconic name Tío Bigotes. This exciting venture is part of a strategic plan, and I’m fortunate to have exclusive rights to open Tío Bigotes locations throughout South Holland. We’re also able to offer deliveries to customers outside of the province, so our delicious empanadas can reach even more people across the region.
The location we’ve chosen for our restaurant is on the Spuistraat, situated in an area designated for hospitality businesses. Now that the spot is confirmed, we’re moving forward with the necessary formalities with the local municipality to ensure everything is in place for a smooth opening.
Of course, I couldn’t run this venture alone! I’m excited to announce that our first employee will be Lukas Goris. Lukas and I previously worked together at Miss Maui on the beach in Scheveningen, and I’m thrilled to have him join our team as we embark on this delicious journey.
